We’ve been working with Trevor on imitating lines when drawing, but he has such a hard time with tools that it’s a frustrating process for him. So his OT suggested we remove some of the frustration factor by working on imitating lines without using crayons/markers, etc. Instead we had fun painting with trucks! I drew a road on some white paper so that he would get the idea of what we’re doing. I added different colors of paint to the paper and had him try to drive his trucks on “roads” to work on imitating lines. He had so much fun! He still definitely struggled to imitate lines and circles, but he had a great time trying.
