“Motherhood is about raising and celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you would have. It’s about understanding that he is exactly the person his is supposed to be. And that, if you’re lucky, he just might be the teacher who turns you into the person you are supposed to be.” – Joan Ryan
I’m Jordan, mama to two wonderful kids. My oldest, Trevor, is a smart, clever, curious and funny 4-year-old boy. He also happens to have some special needs (Sensory Processing Disorder, Dyspraxia, and a duplication of chromosome 2q13). Being his Mama has taught me to be a better person, and definitely challenged me to be a very hands-on mom. I started this blog to share some of the motor and sensory activities we do, as well as to connect with other moms.
I also have a 1-year-old daughter, Paige. She is an outgoing, adventurous, independent little girl. She loves messy play and copying everything her big brother does.
Welcome to my blog! I’m not always the most consistent blogger since life gets busy, but I love sharing our fun activities with you. And you can always find us on Instagram at: motherhood_adventures
